MARIA XENIA

Meet Maria, a passionate and experimental girl that loves to dig into dark stories and fantasy. “I love to tell and create stories about my garments. I feel like, when a piece of clothing has a story, it becomes alive and is no longer just a piece of clothing”.

Maria grew up in a small town in the north of Jutland, where she spent a lot of her childhood creating different artefacts, like dollhouses, costumes and drawings.“When I got older, I started doing modelling, where my interests of fashion grew bigger and saw a big opportunity to be creative in different ways”.

Back in 2020, Maria moved to Copenhagen to make her dream come true of becoming a fashion designer.​In 2023, she graduated from Scandinavian Academy of Fashion Design, and she is today soon to being recognized in Danish tv as a contestant of “Denmark’s next fashion designer”.

Maria is currently working as a sales assistant at a jewelry store but will soon to be a full-time designer. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and she is always up for new adventures, whatever its traveling, exploring nature or trying new recipes.
